W e had never been in Sant Antoni before we came to live here. Now we like it so much that we want to share it with you. That’s why we have thought up MARAKASA, a B&B in a typical village house three hundred years old, a place at the same time private and shared where you can spend a few days beside the sea and the mountains, near everything that Sant Antoni, the Empordà and the Costa Brava can offer you. And, since they opened de C-31, that branches from the motorway AP-7, it takes only an hour and a half to reach Barcelona by car, and not much more by bus. It only takes about twenty minutes to get to Girona, a very beautiful and interesting city.
MARAKASA offers you accommodation in a charming environment. We have four different rooms: three doubles on suite and a fourth one with a sitting room attached were up to four people can lodge. And in case of need, we have the useful folding bed. We also have wi-fi and central heating in all rooms. Pets are allowed.
A good Catalan breakfast, with cold meats of the area on “pa amb tomàquet” (bread with tomato pulp), on top of the usual cereals, coffee or tea, and toasts, served from 9 to 11, unless specially requested, helps to start the day on the right foot. There is also a small shared área with a fridge where you can store and prepare your own food. We can also wash your clothes
