M arakasa is a beautiful village house from the 17th century, with thick walls of stone. Not too long ago, it was just at the seashore. Now it’s located very near the church square, in the centre of the village. South, it’s on the main street of the village. North opens to a private passageway in the street Artur Mundet, in front the number 85. That was the old entrance for carts and animals, and now it`s the direct entrance to Marakasa and its courtyard.
The courtyard is fresh, shadowed and green. We have set a large table were we served breakfast in the summer. From the courtyard, you get to Earth room and also to the upper part, where the other three rooms are located: Forest, Sea and Fire, surrounding a fresh open terrace: a shared space, with a few tables, where you can sit, chat, drink and eat, and enjoy the cooler temperature of the night. From the terrace, you can also access the kitchen, another shared space that can be used for those few rainy days.
